Do I qualify for this study?

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are 18 to 70 years of age, have been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis for at least six (6) months, and have plaques that cover at least 10% of your body. The skin on the palm of the hand, not including the fingers, makes up about 1% of our body total skin surface.

What is psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin condition that results in itchy, dry, raised skin patches (plaques) covered with gray or silver scales, commonly affecting the knees, elbows, trunk, and scalp, frequently, causing discomfort.

What are clinical research studies?

Clinical research studies, often referred to as clinical trials, are systematic investigations designed to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and optimal use of new medical treatments, interventions, or devices in humans. These studies play a crucial role in advancing medical knowledge and patient care, as they provide the scientific evidence needed to determine whether new treatments are more effective or safer than existing ones, or if they offer any other benefits.

Why should I participate in a clinical research study?

Participating in a clinical trial is a unique opportunity to play an active role in your own healthcare, potentially benefiting from cutting-edge treatments before they’re widely available. Beyond personal advantages, your participation can pave the way for medical breakthroughs that have the potential to change, and even save, lives in the years to come.
